MuzikCaffe makes practice tracks from songs. This page explains what we keep and why, in plain words.
Signing in
You sign in with Google. We receive only your email address and name (Google also shares your profile picture, which is only shown back to you in the app). We use your email to identify your account and to keep your library separate from everyone else's. We don't get your Google password, contacts, files or anything else from your account.
The audio you submit
When you submit a song, the audio is processed on our servers to make your practice track: separating the vocals, finding the beat, chords and lyrics, and rendering new MP3s.
- The finished MP3s are stored for you only, in your own library. Other users can't see or play them.
- Large working files made along the way (the source audio, separated stems and other intermediates) are deleted automatically 24 hours after they were last used. Small analysis files (tempo, chords, lyrics timing) are kept so the same song can be re-made quickly.
- Uploaded files are private to the person who uploaded them.
Deleting your data
You can delete any track at any time with “Delete from library” on the song page; its MP3s are removed with it. To have your whole account and all your tracks removed, email us and we'll do it.
What we don't do
No ads, no tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data. Your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. The services that run MuzikCaffe (Google sign-in, Supabase for accounts and storage, Modal for processing, Cloudflare for hosting) handle data only to provide the service.
